Our Tool-Box

We believe these tools have the potential to be a great blessing for you and your church family.

All the tools we use are reproducible and low-cost or free, making them easy for anyone to implement.

Here’s what we want to share with you:

  • What we have seen working internationally.

  • What is currently working for us.

  • How these tools can help you mobilize your church into mission.

Our initial goal was missions mobilization, but along the way, we realized the systems that work best are those where discipleship and evangelism happen simultaneously. This approach, often known as Disciple Making Movements (DMM), has proven effective across cultures. We believe the best Missionaries will come out of Missional churches

In both Canada and Latin America, we have found that this approach works best in three stages, following what we call the Three D’s:

  • Discover – Discover the Great Commission calling.

  • Develop – Develop the community's know-how in doing the mission.

  • Deploy – Deploy people into their communities.

These stages happen simultaneously and are built into each level of training.

Our Core Approach

  • Heavily reliant on Scripture and discussion.

  • Expectations and accountability within the group.

  • Obedience-based learning, practicing what we discover.

If you want to learn more or explore using these tools in your church, small group, or community, we would love to connect with you.

1st phase) Be On Mission, Live On Purpose (Beta Project)

This in-house tool was developed because we saw the need to help believers see themselves as Kingdom workers and stewards of their time, effort, and resources.

Everyone starts out feeling afraid, but fear decreases when people are trained through apprenticeship-style learning. Soon they begin to believe:
"I’m called. I can do this. I know how!"

This is a facilitator-guided study, ideal for small groups, home groups, or discipleship classes. All you need is a facilitator who can guide discussion and help people engage with Scripture and practical application.st

2nd phase) Explore by Via

We love Explore by Via because it helps people catch the vision for the Great Commission while providing practical tools that can be used in your local context.

Like our first tool, this is a facilitator-guided, discussion-based study, perfect for small groups and discovery settings. We focus on group and self-discovery tools because we have found these to be the most engaging and transformative.

3rd phase) Disciple-Making Movements (DMM)

DMM has seen approximately 100 million new believers come to faith in the past 30 years, with movements emerging even in some of the hardest-to-reach nations on earth.

Why do we value DMM?

Because it trains everyday believers to take Jesus into the lives of others, just as Jesus sent His disciples two by two, looking for persons of peace. It takes the pressure off evangelism, emphasizing prayer, serving others, and living missionally in everyday life.

Although DMM is designed to be reproducible, it requires a deeper initial investment to get started. The goal is not a program with a beginning and end but a lifestyle of ongoing discovery and obedience-based discipleship, much like the early church.
